High Rise Deconstruction

As part of our fantastic demolition team, we have a special team who are focused on high rise structures across the UK and mainland Europe offering bespoke solutions to many complex schemes.

Our Demolition Engineering Team can offer sound, simplistic advice and develop strategies for safe deconstruction of high-rise buildings / structures.

A typical method for deconstruction is:

TOP-DOWN DECONSTRUCTION

This process involves the deconstruction of the property, floor by floor from the top down to the bottom. This method is one of the safest methods in which to undertake to demolition of high and medium rise properties, the method provides a strong level of control in terms of the structure of the building and those working in and around the demolition site.

This deconstruction technique requires scaffolding to be erected around the building and then demolition equipment hoisted to the working level. The process is technically very challenging and requires our expert team to have a complete understanding of how the building is constructed prior to commencing such work this includes engineering controls that need to be put into place.

Another technical service we provide as an alternative deconstruction methodology is High Reach Deconstruction.

HIGH REACH DECONSTRUCTION

Over the years we have invested both in plant equipment and our team on site, it is important that our team is experienced and have the tools to carry out the works safely and efficiently.

With the use of our highly trained Plant Operators and our dedicated High Reach Plant Equipment we have the capability of deconstruction high rise structures using excavators and a series of dedicated attachments to essentially deconstruct the building from the top down.

Prior to this methodology being undertaken, our demolition and asbestos teams will have conducted the complete asbestos removal and internal soft strip works of the building to prepare the building for deconstruction.

Our Plant Renewal Programme allows us to invest in the latest technology and we have the ability to deconstruct building ranging in various heights our equipment can reach up to a maximum of 40 metres.
