As a leading Innovative Demolition Contractor, we were appointed as a new subcontractor working for Minesto. We were appointed due to our experience, demonstrating our capabilities. The Buoy was used as a research facility at sea to measure tidal force and energy, understanding how it can be used to make electricity. The MGS Buoy was decommissioned and placed at Holyhead as a redundant structure, we were engaged to carefully dismantle the asset within a small time frame. Our Demolition Site Team, carefully undertook a process of oxy fuel cutting to prepare the structure to be dismantled with sections being lifted by crane and removed from site.
