The Irlam House project involves the extensive internal soft strip of a 15-storey tower block located in the heart of Bootle, Liverpool. This significant undertaking is part of a broader redevelopment plan for the area, requiring the careful removal of all non-structural elements within the building, including fixtures, fittings, partitions, ceilings, and floor coverings. The project is characterized by its tight schedule, urban location, and the need to ensure safety and quality at every stage. Given the building’s height and location in a densely populated area, meticulous planning and execution are paramount to minimize disruption and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Key Objectives:

  1. Efficient Internal Soft Strip: Safely and systematically remove all non-structural elements from all 15 floors, preparing the building for the next phase of redevelopment.
  2. Tight Programme Management: Complete the project within a strict timeline, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently without compromising safety or quality.
  3. Logistics Coordination: Manage the complex logistics of accessing and working within a high-rise building in a busy urban area, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding community.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of safety throughout the project, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  5. Quality of Service: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, with regular quality checks and clear communication with all stakeholders.
